Pause Reflect Pray Moment

Dear Jesus, most humbly I ask for:

A deep faith, a firm hope and an ardent love for You. I ask this through our love Mother Mary.

The grace of perseverance until death and the grace of a blessed death in the dearest Lord. The conviction that death is a great step, the most important moment of my life, the beginning of a new life, not the ending of life.

The spirit of prayer, an awareness of God in my life. A sense of sorrow for sin, and a determination to avoid serious sin- even venial sin- so as to keep my soul ever pure in the sight of God.

The grace of peace of soul, arising from trust in God, and from living by one day at a time.

The prudence to leave my life in the hands of God, doing all that I can, but remembering that He is the way and the truth and the life.

The grace of a devotion to the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, the Consoler and the Advocate, the Source of strength, who comes to me in Baptism- with faith, hope and love- and in Confirmation with His gifts of wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, piety, fortitude and fear of the Lord. The grace of love for, and deep devotion to, our Lady, the Mother of the Eucharistic Lord and our spiritual Mother

The courage to imitate her and depend upon her.

The grace to consecrate myself and my family, my work and my problems to Mary, our Lady of the most Blessed Sacrament.
