We met Fr. Zenkie is San Carlos Seminary during a small Divine Mercy gathering, where we (me, my Mommy- Nini and friend- Lea Santillan) were invited by Dra. Flora Go last Thursday, June 26, 2008. This meeting was such a blessing really and we are eternally thankful to Dra. Flora Go for being the angel that made this possible- literally, overnight. In this meeting, we were so blessed to meet so many other holy priests like Fr. Rey Amante and significantly, Fr. Seraphim Michalenko and Fr. Joe Roesch both from the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Stockbridge Massachussets. That day, we learned about the World Congress of Divine Mercy to be held in Brazil in October 2008 (according to Fr. Joe most likely around the time of St. Faustina's feastday). Fr. Joe fondly recalls the image given by Bro. Stanley when they last met in Washington which remains in his home. Fortunately also, Fr. Seraphim, Fr. Joe and Stanley were able to re-acquaint themselves briefly on the phone while we were all there. Fr. Joe and Fr. Silvio (whose email to Raymond I just received earlier ) have expressed that they are looking forward to bringing Bro. Stanley to the congress. How God provides opportunities for things to fall into place. We were so blessed and was left in blissful awe throughout the days that follow. I am writing this down so I can joyfully recount the days knowing my memory may fail me one day. Even so, I believe blessed occassions like this, the heart remembers. =) God bless everyone!
